At RAELA, we carefully select each pearl for its character, luster, and natural beauty. Every type of pearl tells a different story — and each piece you wear is a part of that story.
Freshwater Pearls
Delicate, soft in glow, and naturally varied in shape, freshwater pearls are known for their gentle elegance. Sourced from lakes and rivers, they come in a wide range of sizes and colors.
Akoya Pearls
The classic saltwater pearl. Perfectly round and intensely luminous, Akoya pearls are known for their mirror-like shine and timeless beauty. Some may carry slight natural blemishes — a sign of their authenticity.
Keshi Pearls
Small, organically shaped, and 100% nacre, Keshi pearls are beloved for their natural form and high luster. No two are exactly alike.
Baroque Pearls
Imperfect and bold, baroque pearls embrace asymmetry and uniqueness. Their irregular shapes carry a sense of art and individuality.
Mabe Pearls
Half-round pearls grown against the shell interior, Mabe pearls are known for their domed shape and bold presence. Often used in statement pieces.
Tahitian Pearls
Naturally dark and mysteriously iridescent, Tahitian pearls come in shades from green to gray to peacock black. Some pearls may have subtle surface textures or spots, adding to their raw, ocean-born character.
South Sea Pearls

In a few of our designs, we also incorporate high-quality crafted pearls,such as Swarovski pearls, to achieve specific colors, shapes, or durability that natural pearls may not offer. These man-made pearls are carefully selected and used only where they serve the design with purpose and integrity.
